Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect through cyde.gr, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have — in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Reg. 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019.

Data controller

The controller responsible for processing your data through this site is Cybernetics Development. You can reach us at:

  • Email: info@cyde.gr
  • Phone: +30 694 772 4627
  • Website: cyde.gr

What data we collect

We only collect what you provide to us or what is technically necessary to run and secure the site:

  • Contact form details: your name, email address, company (optional), the type of service you're interested in and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: your IP address, which we process temporarily and solely to protect the form from automated and unsolicited messages (spam).

We do not use analytics tools or advertising cookies, and we do not track your behaviour on the site.

Purposes and legal basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your enquiry: to contact you and reply to your message. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Security and abuse prevention: to protect the form and the site from spam and malicious use. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our systems secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

The site uses only strictly necessary data that serves its basic operation, such as storing your language preference. These do not require your consent. We do not use analytics, targeting or advertising cookies.

Who receives your data

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. To operate, we work with carefully selected providers acting as processors on our behalf:

  • Resend: the email service through which we receive contact-form messages.
  • Hosting provider: to run the site on secure servers within the European Union.

Transfers outside the EU

The email service (Resend) may process data on servers in the United States. In such cases, the transfer relies on the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention period

We keep your data only for as long as necessary:

  • Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if no engagement follows, for a reasonable period of up to 24 months so we can respond to any follow-up.
  • IP address (anti-spam): held briefly in server memory for a few minutes and then deleted automatically.

In any case, we delete your data once the purpose of processing no longer applies or at your request, where there is no legal obligation to retain it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: to know what data of yours we process.
  • Rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure: to request deletion of your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction: to request that processing be restricted.
  • Objection: to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any right, contact us at info@cyde.gr. We will respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

Lodging a complaint

If you believe the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA):

  • Address: 1-3 Kifissias Ave., 115 23 Athens, Greece
  • Phone: +30 210 6475600
  • Email: complaints@dpa.gr
  • Website: www.dpa.gr

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restrictions and hosting on secure servers within the EU.

Minors

The site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page, showing the date it was last updated.
